About Me
I am a qualified counsellor working within the ethical framework of the British Association for
Counselling and Psychotherapy. I offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you
can talk openly and feel heard.
My approach is person-centred, while also drawing on elements of solution-focused therapy, CBT,
and relational approaches. This allows me to work flexibly and tailor sessions to your individual
needs. I also offer brief therapy for those seeking shorter-term support.
Having experienced counselling myself, I understand how difficult it can feel to reach out for
support and even know where to start. My aim is to offer a calm, respectful, and supportive space
where you feel safe, accepted, and able to explore things at your own pace.
Practice Description
I offer one-to-one counselling in a confidential and supportive setting, with sessions guided by
what feels most important to you. I work with adults from a range of backgrounds and life
experiences, including young adults and students.
Counselling can provide space to explore your thoughts and emotions, make sense of difficult
experiences, and build greater self-awareness and resilience. You do not need to have everything
figured out before starting — we can begin wherever you are.
I offer face-to-face sessions at Time Counselling and Wellbeing Centre, with evening availability
and some flexibility to accommodate different schedules where possible.
Your First Session
Starting counselling can feel like a big step, and it’s completely natural to feel nervous or unsure
about what to expect.
Our first session is a chance for us to meet, talk about what has brought you to counselling, and
explore what support you may be looking for. There is no pressure to share anything before you
feel ready.
I will also explain how I work, including confidentiality, and there will be time for any questions you
may have. Most importantly, the first session is an opportunity for you to see whether you feel
comfortable working with me.
Areas I Can Help With
I support adults with a wide range of emotional and personal difficulties, including anxiety, low
mood, stress, relationship challenges, loss and bereavement, self-esteem, identity, and life
changes. I also work with people who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or trying to make sense
of difficult experiences or emotions.
