About
Alice Marie
Therapeutic Artist

Alice Marie is an artist, illustrator, and primary school art specialist passionate about emotional wellbeing and creative expression. Her work blends therapeutic art practices with a deep love for children’s creative exploration. Through non-clinical sessions, lessons, and resources, she helps both adults and children explore mental health safely and playfully, using creativity as a tool for communication and emotional regulation.
Her mission is rooted in prevention: empowering the next generation and supporting adults in their healing journeys before crisis hits. She believes art offers a vital pathway to understanding ourselves, especially when words fall short.
In her personal practice, she creates layered paper collages from discarded and ‘unwanted’ materials such as torn pages, envelopes, and old packaging. These scraps become something meaningful, reminding us that nothing, and no one, is ever truly worthless. Each collage is a quiet act of transformation and reclaiming, mirroring the emotional work she champions.
Whether in the classroom, the studio, or community spaces, her work is defined by approachability, honesty, and simplicity. Through art, she offers a gentle space to reconnect with joy, creativity, and the many overlooked parts of ourselves.
